The reverse osmosis purifications
equipment used in our systems is one the most advanced methods of purfying
water on the market today.
A stores source water is plumbed into a water softener 1 to
eliminate hard minerals such as calcium and magnesium. This softened water
runs through a regenerating carbon filter 2 which
removes any chlorine present in the water. The next step is the micron filter 3 that
traps any solids present in the water line and a final carbon filter 4 assuring
any remaining impurities are removed prior to the water entering into the
reverse osmosis membranes.
This water is then forced through the reverses osmosis membranes 5 by
a high pressured pump to complete the purifying process and provide high
quality pure drinking water.
Approximately 1/2 of the water that flows through the membrane is used to
flush the impurities from the filter system keeping it clean for its next
purifying cycle.
The membrane is also equipped with an automatic flush feature which helps
increase the life of the filter system.
This pure water then flows to the storage tank. 6 Following
the storage tank the water can be pumped to any location in a store that
could benefit from the use of pure water.7 The
pure water flows through a water meter 8 (optional)
that records the amount of water used. An ultraviolet light 9 is
used to prevent any bacteria that might enter the line prior to the water
being distributed to store front dispenser 10 and
filled by end user. |
